Architectural Lettering, Part 1

For those who enjoy incorporating block letters in their handwriting or mixing print script with different calligraphic styles, architectural lettering is an ideal script to learn. As the name suggests, architectural lettering is a script traditionally utilized by architects to communicate on blueprints with legibility and uniformity. With its unique use of elongated letters and angled strokes, this easy to learn style will give your lettering a dynamic geometric punch. As part one of a two part series, this class taught by Chantelle Hoffmann of Bespoke Strokes Calligraphy, will focus on the capital letter forms and numbers. The following class will cover several unique variations of the capital forms and how to incorporate lowercase letters as well.
